Briolatina,
the bulletin of the society, was originally published in
Mexico City and later in Panama City. Currently, it is
published electronically as part of the society's website.
The bulletin includes editorial notes, commentaries,
bibliography, and news about bryologists and bryophytes.
Claudio Delgadillo M. concludes his editorial duties with
Briolatina 56; contributions to forthcoming issues may be
sent to
briolatina@briolat.org
or to the new editor, Yelitza León,
yeltleon@ula.ve.
In conjunction with the Latin American Botanical Congress,
the SLB holds a symposium, poster presentation and
competition every four years. The seventh symposium was held
in June 2006 in Santo Domingo, República Dominicana; the
next meeting will be in Chile in 2010.
